This is the Final build of our game. The first part is screenshots to show off the different areas in a still environment.
Exterior
For the exterior we were aiming to create a beautiful looking island that would contrast to the dull and dreary looking prison. Alex did a good job on modelling a worn down prison whilst I added more discoloured looking aesthetics to the inside assets and made the outside area look lush and appealing.
Interior
The inside of the prison is supposed to have a more gritty, dark and unsettling nerve compared to the outside. The lack of colour and discolouring of assets like the wooden benches really made the two environments stand out in contrast to one another. This gives different signs to the player and can speak different emotions for them to feel.
The warden's office however has a bit more colour to it, since the head warden is a high end worker in the prison we felt like he would live in more of a comfortable zone, one that had more colour than the rest of the prison along with items that were more luxurious than the usual like the gold featured on his pen.
